Principle
An ejector scrubber employs pressure to achieve very high efficiency.
The gas stream and the scrubber fluid are mixed, and then sent into a narrowing tunnel.
This bottleneck is where the pressure builds up, and where the absorption process accelerates.
Scheme
Use
Generating all this pressure uses lots of power.
It is thus better suited to relatively small gas flows.
In that case, an ejector handles concentrations of up to 100%, with a very high efficiency.
Vacuum Kit
With an optional vacuum kit, our ejector scrubbers generate up to 95% vacuum.
They can be used instaid of a vacuum pump (with its accompanying packed tower scrubber).
The Ejector Scrubber
- handles contaminant concentrations of up to 100% for small gas flows
- reach very high efficiency
- can generate up to 95% vacuum with optional vacuum kit
