Packed tower scrubber installed in 2002 in Izmir (Turkey). This Ethylene Oxide scrubber is installed in open air at a distance of about 800 meters from the open sea. The scrubber has 2 pumps: while one is operational, the other is stand-by. On failure of the first pump, the other takes over automatically, without any interruption of the scrubbing process.
